EMMY CERRA IS A POWERHOUSE.  While the 24-year-old Malden, MA singer songwriter has built up a reputation as a dynamic live performer, Cerra's debut CD Metamorphic shows off her powerful voice, vigorous guitar playing and insightful songwriting.  Her songs show she's packed a lot of living into her young life.  Cerra's performance on Metamorphic is the antithesis of the preprocessed girl pop that we've seen so much of lately.

...a raw, unfiltered sound that makes the listener feel as though they are hearing a live show, leaving out that sterile mainstream sound and allowing for true emotion to shine through. It's enough to make any pop-tart run for the hills.

Emmy's knack for lyric, catchy melodies, and soulful voice make a package that is hard to resist. Solo acoustic she is fantastic.
